Our story

A quiet place for well-wishes to gather.

Well Wishes was born from one simple, deeply personal moment.

Lynn Saunders wanted to surround her mother-in-law with love, warmth, and heartfelt messages during a difficult time. She pictured a quiet wishing well — the kind you find in storybooks and old gardens — where people could drop in coins of kindness: video wishes, written memories, shared stories, quiet gratitude, anything that felt true.

That single image became the heart of everything we've built.

“The best moments in life deserve a place to live forever — not scattered across texts or buried in photo rolls, but gathered together.”

What started as a private gathering place for one family quickly grew into something bigger. Friends and loved ones joined in. Messages rippled outward. The well didn't just hold wishes — it held connection, comfort, appreciation, and love in every shape and form.

That's why we created Well Wishes.

A calm, private corner of the internet where:

  • You can collect video messages, voice notes, written memories, photos — whatever feels right
  • Contributors can add their own wish coins of love and gratitude
  • The well grows richer every time someone drops in a new piece of their heart
  • The people you love can return to it whenever they need to feel held

No noise. No pressure. Just a gentle, beautiful space where well-wishes gather.

Ripple the love.

We're still in early days — pure beta, 100% free for family and friends — but the mission is already clear:

Create a place where love is never lost — only collected, cherished, and shared forward.

If you've ever wanted to say “I'm thinking of you,” “Thank you,” “I love you,” or simply “You mattered to me” — and have it live on in a way that feels real and warm — you're exactly why we're here.

Welcome to the well.
